Description
Discover the Interlaken Region differently, from the air, just like a bird. View the mountain trio of Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau as well as Titlis and Schilthorn while flying over the crystal clear lakes of Thun and Brienz. Before getting back on the ground, you will fly over the Aare river and land in the centre of Interlaken on the Hohematte park.
The take-off place Amisbühl in Beatenberg is perfectly located in an area with excellent thermal wind conditions which can potentially extend your air-time. Meeting point is at the paragliding centre in the heart of Interlaken where you get equipped before being driven to the take-off place.
For the tandem paragliding flight, you don’t need any previous experience. If weather permits you can even take control of the glider and manoeuvre it under the supervision of your expert instructor.
All the pilots are fully trained and certified by the Swiss Paragliding Association, making sure you have a safe outing with a seasoned expert.
Itinerary
- Meet the team at the meeting point. You'll be equipped with hiking boots and jackets.
- The team will take you on a scenic drive up the mountain to the take-off area (about 20-minutes).
- After a short briefing on the flight instructions, you may assist your pilot to prepare the glider for takeoff.
- The takeoff will be from a gentle downhill slope and does not require any free-falling from airplanes or jumping from cliff edges.
- During 5-10 minutes (depending on thermal conditions) you will fly over the lakes with beautiful mountain scenery in front of you.
- The landing spot is only a few minutes away by foot from Interlaken's city center.
- There's no pick-up from the landing spot.

Depending on client fitness and weather conditions, heavier or lighter passengers can be accommodated on an individual basis.
Participants will be unable to fly if they are
- under three years of age,
- are pregnant,
- have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder,
- are wearing a hard plaster cast, or
- are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
If you have a history of heart, back or neck complaints, or any general concerns, it is best to check before booking.
