Rent a canoe in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and explore the beautiful Ardèche region from the river! The descent of the Ardeche Gorge on a canoe or kayak is possible thanks to the team of Aigue Vive! In the heart of the Gorges de l'Ardèche Natural Reserve, Aigue Vive offers you a warm welcome, as well as a quality service. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, like sporty descents or relaxing excursions on the water, you can rent a canoe for a day (course of 24 or 32 km) or 2 days with overnight. Or you can also test yourself on the mini-descent of 8 km that you can perform in about 2 hours or 13 km that requires 3 hours of navigation. Programme: 13km route (3 hours): The meeting is at the canoe base on the gorges road in Vallon Pont d'Arc. After completing the administrative papers, you will receive a life jacket, a neoprene wetsuit if necessary, a waterproof container to bring your belongings, picnic, drinks, sunscreen... Then you instructor will drive you by minibus to the village of Sampzon for the departure. After an initiation and a security briefing, you will descend the river to Châmes (2 km after the Pont d'Arc). On this course, you will cross the famous slides for canoe, there are four in total and then you will discover the premises of the canyon of the gorges of the Ardèche with a succession of flat part and crossing small rapids. At the finish of your descent, the team will pick you up by bus at the time of your choice to drive you back to the base. Before leaving, you can enjoy hot showers, relax on the terrace, watch the photos of your excursion while enjoying an ice cream or a cold drink!
