Board your raft and challenge currents of the Gave de Pau river! Near Lourdes in Lestelle-Bétharram, it is the ideal sporting activity to practice with family or friends. The Gave de Pau river has its source in the famous Cirque of Gavarnie. These waters that run down the Hautes Pyrenees form from Lourdes the most popular rapids in the region. You will have the choice of two ways to navigate for one descent ! You can choose to descend with a guide at the helm, allowing you to always go to the right place and fill up on sensations. You will board a 4 to 10 seat raft, in other words the safest boat, accessible to everyone as soon as you can swim. But you can also choose to be the pilot! Don't worry, inflatable boats are much more stable than traditional kayaks. But you will have to learn to operate the boat and read the river in order to choose the right passages!
